As an owner who acquires, repositions, and manages space across the country, we touch many different parts of the chain from design to operations. With this national footprint, everything we do down to the flip of a light switch can have an environmental impact. At EQ, we’re committed to making smart, sustainable choices that improve the space in which we all live – our planet.

EQ Office manages tens of millions of square feet of LEED and Energy Star Certified office properties.

  • Iconic Willis Tower earns highest LEED certification for sustainability enhancements, as was recently awarded a Platinum rating.

  • With Entic/Aquicore, we continually monitor and analyze building automation systems (BAS) to optimize our resources.

  • We’ve saved over 11 million gallons of water by installing low-flow, high-energy toilets.

  • We’ve dramatically cut our energy usage by changing over all light bulbs to LED.

  • Partnering with Schneider Electric, we continually monitor and analyze our building electricity usage.

  • By upgrading 48 elevators with regenerative drives, we have saved approximately $25,000 per year.
